Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry with Behavioral Health position at a short-term acute care hospital in North Carolina, requiring a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.Job Details• Short-term acute care hospital setting, Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a Behavioral Health component,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,• Patient ratio of 1:5-6,• Every other weekend required,• Floating required between sister campuses as needed,• Charting via Epic (experience required),• No on-call requirements,• Block scheduling is not available,Job Requirements• Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand - pending licenses are not accepted,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position,• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• 13-week contract,• Royal blue and white scrubs required,• Pre-start orientation modules must be completed (approximately 4-10 hours),• Only 1 holiday approval allowed per contract,• Up to 4 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract, subject to manager's discretion,• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,• Night shift travelers may extend their contract up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months,
