Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for EU client with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across our Azure environments. Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus but not required.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Architecture: Define and implement security frameworks for Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and workloadsIdentity & Access Management: Configure and manage Azure AD, role-based access control (RBAC), and conditional access policiesNetwork Security: Design and enforce network controls using NSGs, Azure Firewall, and Azure Virtual WANData Protection: Implement encryption at rest and in transit (Azure Key Vault, Azure Disk Encryption, TLS)Compliance & Governance: Deploy and tune Azure Sentinel workspaces for SIEM and SOARAutomation & DevSecOps: Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsMust-Have Qualifications3+ years in cloud security engineering, with a focus on AzureMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), equivalent or higherProficiency with Azure security services: Azure AD, Key Vault, Sentinel, and FirewallStrong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for security automationExperience with network security design and implementation in AzureSolid understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirementsPreferred SkillsHands-on with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for pipeline security integrationsFamiliarity with container security (AKS) and Kubernetes network policiesOptional: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security controls and migration strategiesKnowledge of vulnerability management tools and processesExcellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical requirements for stakeholdersAbout Rework-SpaceRework-Space offers cloud business solutions and conduct research and investigations in the field of cyber-security and threat intelligence.
