Sr. FP&A Analyst
Senior Fpa AnalystThe Senior Fpa Analyst will be a key participant in the creation of the company's annual budgets and long-term plans, prepare detailed financial analysis against budgeted, forecasted and prior period results, and develop Kpis that will provide management with analytical tools to establish goals and measure the performance of the company. This role will act as a financial business partner to cross-functional areas of the organization.Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:As the Senior Fpa Analyst you will be involved with the following:Revenue PlanningLoss Ratio PlanningLong-Term ProjectionsPerformance against Plan ReportingPrepare timely and accurate monthly reporting and variance analysis for key financial and operational metrics, understanding performance drivers against budget, forecast and prior periodsBuild relationships with business leaders to become a trusted partner who can identify trends and recommend actions based on financial analysisBuild out, analyze, and communicate results of strategic initiatives and articulate impact to overall business based on performanceProvide strong ad-hoc financial and business decision support as needed, including developing financial modelsTechnical Knowledge and Understanding:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and analytical skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectivelyAttention to detailExperience:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required; P&C insurance experience preferred4 plus years of relevant financial experience; preferably including budgeting, forecasting, and analysisStrong proficiency in developing financial modelsEffective time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines with limited supervisionDemonstrated ability to be proactive, analytical, and use critical and strategic thinking to solve complex problemsShows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysisStrong collaboration skills in order to establish key partnerships with stakeholdersPossess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over work authorization sponsorship now or in the future for this position.At Core Specialty, you will receive a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
