ROLE:Oracle DBA Maturity & Production ReadinessLOCATION: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)CONTRACTDemonstrates the maturity and expertise required to handle production support effectively, strictly adhering to established processes that are critical for implementing and managing changes in the production environment.Key Responsibilities:Operational Support: Manage maintenance schedules, prepare incident and RCA reports, and provide on-call production support.Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, contribute to the knowledge base, and actively participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions.Process Optimization: Perform workload analysis, identify process improvements, and support efficient task allocation.Collaboration: Enable effective task distribution, provide cross-team support, and document issue resolutions.Maintenance & Monitoring: Conduct routine database health checks, apply patches, and continuously monitor system performance.Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 support for database-related issues, including root cause analysis and timely resolution.Backup & Recovery: Perform and manage regular database backups, recovery activities, and patching processes.Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance through SQL tuning, indexing strategies, and effective resource management.Security & Compliance: Manage user roles and privileges, implement auditing controls, and ensure data security and regulatory compliance.
