Project planning, teamwork and evaluation skills are keys to success in this role and safety is of utmost importance!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Performs moderately sophisticated technical assignments that ensure system integrity, compliance, facility equipment maintenance, and pipeline operations supportParticipates in project planning and collaborates with company partners to guarantee accurate and available dataReads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreementsAdheres to all policies and proceduresExperience with high-speed natural gas engines & compressors (Ariel/Caterpillar Packaging)Knowledge of installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairPreferred: Experience with Vibration Analysis/Testing Category 1,2,3 or higherPreferred: Understanding of API 618 pulsation analysis requirements and experience applying themPreferred: Experience with Fleet-level maintenance and reliability programPreferred: Knowledge of equipment health monitoringPreferred: Technical training facilitation, material development and root cause failure analysis training experiencePreferred: Equipment sizing and selection experiencePreferred: General rotating equipment experience (high-speed reciprocating compression, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, turbo expanders)Preferred: Experience using the following tools and software towards equipment maintenance, reliability, performance analysis, sizing, selection: Maximo, Windrock Analyzers, Resonance Analyzers, OSIsoft PI, Caterpillar Gas Engine Rating Pro (GERP), Ariel performance softwarePreferred: Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) certificationOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in oil & gas industryPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialtyPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to:Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arisesMay be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight staysOther Requirements: Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordExhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsTechnical Specialist IIAs a Technical Specialist II, you will ensure system integrity while maintaining compliance, the safety of facility equipment and overall pipeline operations. Troubleshooting moderately sophisticated assignments and developing and cultivating relationships with company partners are keys to success in this role.
