The organization reserves the right to close a posting at any time without prior notice, based on the hiring needs.JOB SUMMARYThe Inventory Technician / Budtender supports the daily retail and inventory operations of Tribal Nation Flower Company by providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate inventory practices, and ensuring compliance with all applicable Tribal, state, and operational requirements. This position assists customers with cannabis product selection and education while also supporting inventory receiving, organization, stocking, processing, and sales floor operations.This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining strict compliance standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIESProvide excellent customer service and create a welcoming, professional retail experience for guestsAssist customers with cannabis product selection, product education, and general retail inquiriesAccurately process customer transactions using point-of-sale systemsMaintain proper cash handling procedures and drawer accountabilityReceive, organize, label, stock, and store cannabis inventory in accordance with company proceduresAssist with inventory counts, reconciliation, product audits, and inventory tracking activitiesMaintain organization and cleanliness of sales floors, inventory areas, displays, workstations, and storage areasRestock product displays and return misplaced or unused products to proper inventory locationsAssist with packaging, pre-roll preparation, and other approved product processing activities as assignedCommunicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, or operational concerns to managementSupport opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, stocking, and operational readinessFollow all company policies, safety standards, and compliance proceduresMaintain confidentiality and security of customer, product, and operational informationMaintain consistent attendance and punctualityPerform all other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GEDMust be at least 21 years of ageValid California Drivers LicenseAbility to successfully pass all required background screening requirementsBasic computer and cash handling skillsAbility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as neededPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious retail, hospitality, inventory, or customer service experiencePrevious cannabis industry experienceExperience using point-of-sale or inventory management systemsBilingual English/Spanish skills preferredKnowledge of cannabis products, consumption methods, and basic compliance requirements preferredApplication ProcessTo apply, please submit the following materials:Completed application form or online applicationCurrent resumeDocumentation of higher educationVerification of Tribal enrollment (required if claiming Tribal or Indian Preference)Submission InstructionsApplications may be submitted on-line, by walk-in, or regular mail. To qualify, applicants must submit valid proof of enrollment. Tribal Members who meet the minimum qualifications will be given preference in hiring, promotion, transfer, and layoff decisions. During the interview process, PRCI Tribal Members will receive an additional 7.5 points (10% of the 75-point interview rubric).
