Python developer

Overview In this role, you will build Python applications, APIs, and automation scripts on AWS to support data defense initiatives like cloud data asset classification and tagging. You’ll automate infrastructure provisioning and contribute to data security proofs of concept while maintaining third-party solutions for DLP. You’ll translate specifications into robust code and participate in design, code, and test reviews. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position focused on secure, scalable cloud development with impactful data governance outcomes. ResponsibilitiesDevelop Python applications, APIs, and automation scripts on AWS to support data defense initiatives.Create automation for provisioning infrastructure in AWS.Produce proofs of concept for data security and classification initiatives.Maintain third-party solutions supporting data defense and DLP efforts.Translate technical specs into code for complex projects.Write programs, test artifacts, and generate reports with automation-minded testing.Participate in design, code, and test inspections across the lifecycle.Explain technical considerations in meetings with internal clients.
