This internship provides meaningful exposure to healthcare law, contracts, regulatory interpretation, and day‑to‑day legal operations. The intern will work directly under the General Counsel and assist with a wide range of legal projects that support patient care, business operations, and organizational integrity.QualificationsQualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Legal Studies, Pre‑Law, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments Interest in healthcare law, regulatory matters, contracts, or corporate legal operations preferredEssential Functions Assist the General Counsel with day‑to‑day legal tasks, projects, and administrative support Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations, state and federal requirements, and industry‑specific legal issues Support contract review and drafting, including organizing agreements and tracking revisions Assist with regulatory interpretation and preparation of legal summaries for operational leaders Help review and organize legal documentation related to licensing, risk management, and corporate governance Support the development and maintenance of legal policies, templates, and reference materials Assist with internal inquiries, document requests, and fact‑gathering for legal matters Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive informationPlease visit cantexcc.com for more information about our organization.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
