As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and specifications and maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and organization.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specificationsUse knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficientlyEnsure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely mannerMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensilsFollow all food safety and sanitation regulationsAssist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and suppliesCommunicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth serviceAssist with other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipmentAbility to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and time-management skillsKnowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniquesAbility to work in a standing position for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsFlexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredGrove Bay Crawford is an E-Verify and equal opportunity employer; you must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
