Cardiac Ultrasound TechnologistScheduled weekly hours: 24Monday through Friday (days) with occasional weekendsUnder the general direction of the physician and within established departmental and office guidelines, performs all duties of a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist. Performs all diagnostic-testing procedures which will include Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms as ordered by the physician.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:2-5 years previous experience requiredSkilled professional with a solid foundation in EchocardiographyCommand of verbal and written EnglishPositive interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Knowledge of medical terminologyComputer skillsAbility to work effectively within role independently and with other team membersAble to use proper body mechanicsAble to wear personal protective equipment (e.g., face mask, goggles, latex/nonlatex gloves) as neededEducational Requirements:Completion of an accredited ultrasound school with a focus on Echocardiography, and or on-site apprenticeship with an Echocardiography laboratory.License/Certification:Registration with ARDMS, CCI or RCS and CPR certification required.Age Specific Criteria:Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations:Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Salary Range:$40.39-$62.82The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
