CDL A OTR Truck Driver Location: Ann Arbor, US (OH Operation: Yard in Obetz, OH) Employment Type: Full-Time (W-2 Employee) Job Summary Join BBI Transportation's Over-the-Road (OTR) operation based out of Obetz, Ohio. We are actively seeking experienced CDL A drivers for non-dedicated, no-touch, drop & hook freight. Key Operational Details Route: OTR, servicing 47 states (excluding California). Routes generally aim to avoid Northwest states during winter months. Time Out: Generally 2 weeks out on the road. Freight Type: Drop & Hook, No-Touch Freight. Work Style: Work is based on customer needs, nothing dedicated initially, but the company is actively working to build more dedicated opportunities with their logistics-based sister company. Home Time/Dispatch: Dispatch is force but flexible; the company is highly communicative and organized, and can accommodate needed home time and different schedules. Operation Yard: Yard in Obetz, OH (future terminal in Obetz). Compensation & Benefits Equipment Downtime: $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance time on the road (maximum $1,000 per week). Detention Pay: $25 per hour paid after the first two hours at a facility. Deadhead Rates: Low mileage rates are added to ensure fair compensation. Holiday Pay: If working on an observed holiday, you receive $50 on top of your regular revenue. Full-Time W-2 Benefits Include: 401(k) with company contribution. Medical coverage (Cigna). Take-Home Equipment: You can take equipment home if you have secure parking available. Pet & Passenger Policies are available. Current Requirements Minimum of 3 years of verifiable CDL A experience. Must be 25 years old or older (under the age of 75 for insurance reasons). Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must show less than 1 moving violation in the last 2 years.
