Registered Dietitian

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4:30 PMThis position would be an inpatient role primarily working on the general medicine unit. Plans therapeutic diets as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with regulatory agencies. Completes screenings, nutritional assessments, and nutrition education with patients/clients. Functions as member of multidisciplinary team. Participates in inpatient, outpatient, and community health programs. Requirements:Certification as a Registered Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.Licensure by the State of Iowa required. Certification by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators, if working in the Diabetic Education Program, preferred.Shift: M-F 8-4:30Specialty Type: Health SciencesSub Specialties: Dietician
