Program Coordinator
Responsible for the successful execution of The Lingo Project’s programs at the Whitehall location. Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is required.
Ensures smooth program operations, manages volunteers, and fosters alignment between The Lingo Project leadership, students, and local partners.
Oversee facility management, classroom setup, and overall program environment.
Manage program scheduling, supplies, calendars, and volunteer coordination.Ensure all schedule and calendar updates are clearly communicated to our partners.Respond to emergencies and urgent issues with discernment, professionalism, and prayer.
Student & Volunteer Support: Manage student onboarding, including sign-up links, workflows, start dates, class assignments, and homework distribution.
Communicate program expectations clearly to new students and maintain ongoing student support.
Manage volunteer sign-up processes across multiple platforms, track schedules and attendance.
Recruit, train, mentor, and lead volunteers, ensuring they maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe learning environment.Lead pre- and post-program huddles to provide direction, encouragement, and feedback.
Leadership & Communication: Develop strong relationships with leadership, local schools, and church partners.
Communicate with leadership to plan, organize, and lead programs, events, and outreach initiatives.
Responsible for the recruitment and retention of volunteers to ensure the continuity and success of the program in serving students.
Provide consistent communication with students, volunteers, and partners to ensure alignment.
This position requires availability two evenings per week, and the Program Manager will determine which days the program operates.
