Job Title: Project Coordinator IIILocation: Jackson preferred, but open to reporting to other service centers - Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Traverse City/Cadillac locationsDepartment: Team is responsible for work, electric meter operations, underground construction, and also across the state.This position specifically will support that contract manager organization.Team is working on some significant reliability upgrades across the systemResponsibilities:tracking project milestones through the processsupport that construction workforce by coordinating and helping the necessary prerequisites and coordination tasks that are necessary to bring this work from the design organization (partnered with) and deliver the package coordinated through constructionProjects that are in the plan - this coordinator would be helping to make sure internally that these projects that are in the plan are getting released on time so that we can get them to the construction resource.Once a project is being tracked, the coordinator may help with identifying the resource that this project should go to based on capacity.Once the source has been identified, the coordinator to help remove any barriers.have scope, schedule, and budget defined for projects, and really trying to see if we are able to track the projects and really hit those scopes, schedule and cost deliverablesSkills:technical aptitudeunderstands construction and how to manage projects3-5 years+aptitude to learn field construction
