Oversees direct or indirect supervision of hourly production employees. May also supervise personnel working on the off shifts.Job ResponsibilitiesFollows plans and schedules of operations in coordination with maintenance, quality control, shipping and production personnelEstablishes, assigns and communicates job responsibilities and schedules for the shift personnel directly involved in the production processSupervises and evaluates job performanceOrders safety equipment needed for production department employeesConducts safety inspections per safety guidelines to ensure compliance with safety regulationsReviews production data and prepares reports on same as requested by managementAssists production personnel and other plant personnel as needed to resolve problems and ensure satisfactory production operationsAssists plant management, when requested, in resolving union problems and grievanceOrders tools and supplies needed for use in the manufacturing processRequests and supervises repairs and preventive maintenance performed on the machinery used in production operationsOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededJob RequirementsAssociate's Degree or two years of college, technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience3 or more years of experience in production with emphasis on process control in a similar industryAbility to lead/manage othersEffective conflict management skillsWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
