Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will own engineering delivery, platform support, and technical execution for platforms powering Employee Services for over 200,000 employees. You will manage a team of 4–6 onshore Solution and Software Engineers alongside offshore/nearshore managed service resources. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep AI expertise, a proven track record of building scalable solutions, and a strong commitment to mentoring engineering talent.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and mentor 4–6 Software Engineers and manage offshore/nearshore managed service resources; establish career growth plans and build future technical leaders.Platform Architecture & Delivery: Drive architecture, design, and execution within Moveworks while overseeing Tier 2 engineering support to ensure high availability and rapid incident resolution.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Architects to translate complex business requirements into enterprise-grade features using Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).Integration & Quality: Oversee API integrations (REST/SOAP) with core systems (ServiceNow, SAP, Workday) while maintaining data quality, compliance, and platform integrity.Strategic Alignment: Set the Moveworks engineering strategy in partnership with leadership, balancing platform modernization, stability, and executive stakeholder communication.Benefits & PerksCompetitive Base Compensation: $179,700 – $241,000 per year (Seattle, WA base pay, tailored to experience and internal equity).Incentives: Bonus eligibility and/or long-term incentive units depending on the position level.Comprehensive Healthcare: Premium medical, dental, and vision coverage options.Financial Well-being: Retirement savings plans, 401(k) matching, and life insurance benefits.Employee Experience: Exclusive employee discounts, park admissions, and robust career mobility pathways within a global entertainment leader.Basic QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience: 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with deep technical knowledge.Leadership: 2+ years leading engineering teams, delivering complex AI implementations, and directing offshore/nearshore managed service resources.Certifications & Skills: Moveworks Certified Agent Studio Developer with proven proficiency in a Moveworks production environment.Technical Integration: Deep expertise in integrated AI solutions and API integration (REST/SOAP) with enterprise systems like ServiceNow, SAP, or Workday.Preferred QualificationsEducation: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Enterprise HR Platforms: Direct experience with ServiceNow or a comparable HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform.Frameworks & Methodologies: Active Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe) and ITIL v3 (or later) certification applying ITSM best practices.Equal Opportunity StatementThe Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
