Hours are 5:00pm - 9:30pm.What We Offer Our Nurse Care CoordinatorsYou take care of others—so we make sure to take care of you.Minimum rate: $33.52/hourEmployment bonusWork-life balance and predictable schedulingBehavioral Health AssistanceConsistent supervision and opportunities to expand your clinical skillsAs a vital member of our psychiatric services team, you will support clients youth along their mental health journey by:Assessing their mental and physical health upon admissionProcessing tests (TB,)Completing lab orders and securing test resultsAddressing somatic complaintsCompleting medication reconciliations, and physical assessmentsEnsuring that medication consents are completeSupporting pain resolutionAssessing the need for precautions and reassessmentsCompleting thorough chartingProviding education on medication, physical concerns, and activities of daily living such as proper hygiene.Assist in coordinating residential youth care.Complete initial assessmentsWill administer medications, precautions monitoring, and pain reassessments. Complete all required clinical documentationIs sensitive to the interrelationships of both people and functions within the department. Will follow Meaningful Use measures. May also be required to provide injections, test blood glucose and/or draw blood for lab tests. Interacts directly with clients and families. Interacts frequently with physicians, and other center employees involved in the case. Will work interdependently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to clients. Minimum hiring requirements:Active Indiana Registered Nursing (RN) licenseTwo years of post-degree psychiatric experience preferredOaklawn offers student externship opportunities for nursing and medical assisting students on a limited basis.
