About this Role:
As an Temporary Assembly Technician you will be a member of small team to assemble small electronics packages used in research.
Timeframe:
approximately 3-4 weeks pilot assembly & test period (part-time)
approximately 2 months production assembly & test period (full-time during, approx 9a - 5pm)
Activities:
Fine assembly of optical elements
Handling and assembly of small electronics within enclosures
Glue application and use of robotic glue dispensers
Configuration & calibration using light benches
Core skills:
Repetitive electronics enclosure assembly in clean environment
Fine parts assembly on mm scale
Handling adhesives
Basic lab bench equipment such as tweezers, air picks, etc.
Basic computer skills
Incoming & Outgoing quality inspection
