This is an opportunity to build an in-house construction management function that directly influences how we grow across multiple brands.If you thrive on managing complex projects, solving problems before they become crises, and working with talented people to bring new restaurants to life, we'd love to meet you.About the RoleAs our Construction Manager, you'll oversee the planning and execution of new restaurant builds, remodels, relocations, conversions, and major capital improvement projects across multiple brands and states.You'll partner closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Real Estate, Information Technology, Facilities, architects, contractors, landlords, and franchisors to ensure every project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and ready for successful operations.This is a highly visible position that combines project management, financial oversight, relationship management, and strategic planning.What You'll DoYou'll lead projects from concept through grand opening by:Managing multiple construction projects simultaneouslyDeveloping project schedules, budgets, and critical milestonesCoordinating contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and municipalitiesMonitoring project budgets, cash flow, invoices, and change ordersIdentifying risks early and driving solutions before they impact schedulesProviding executive-level reporting on timelines, budgets, and project statusStandardizing construction processes that support long-term company growthHelping improve project efficiency, vendor performance, and capital investment decisionsWhat Success Looks LikeSuccessful candidates are people who:Keep projects moving even when challenges ariseHold vendors and partners accountableCommunicate clearly with executives and field leadersBalance urgency with sound decision-makingAnticipate issues before they become problemsTake ownership from start to finishDeliver projects that are on time, on budget, and operationally readyWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who has:3-5+ years of construction project management experienceExperience with restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other multi-site development projectsStrong knowledge of construction scheduling, permitting, budgeting, inspections, change orders, and project closeoutExperience working with contractors, architects, engineers, municipalities, landlords, and vendorsExcellent organizational and communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment*Multi-unit restaurant or franchise experience is a strong plus.*TravelThis role requires frequent travel throughout Oregon, Washington, and other company operating markets to support active construction projects and restaurant openings.Why Team JCK?We're a growing, multi-brand restaurant organization committed to building great restaurants and developing great people.
