Maintenance EngineerJoin our team as a Maintenance Engineer where you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food processing equipment. You will handle both mechanical and electrical repairs, break down machinery for cleaning, and manage the startup of machinery. We are looking for candidates with strong electrical troubleshooting skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on food processing equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.Break down machinery for cleaning and manage machinery startup.Work 6-7 days a week, with flexibility in hours.Essential SkillsMaintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ideally with 2 years of experience.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, specifically with 24-480v systems.Experience with control voltage, pneumatics, and power transmission.Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues using appropriate tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with food manufacturing maintenance is preferred.Knowledge of schematics, preventive maintenance, and welding.Familiarity with PLC and GMP practices.Ability to work 10-12 hour days, 7 days a week.Why Work Here?This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth. Shifts include 1st (5am-3:30pm), 2nd (2PM-12:30AM), and 3rd (10PM-7:30AM) with flexibility in hours. Employees work 5-6 days a week and have access to both basic and specialty tools, with the option to use personal tools if preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
