Sr. Revenue Cycle Management Systems Analyst

The Senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Systems Analyst plays a strategic role in optimizing healthcare revenue cycle operations through advanced data analysis, system configuration, and process improvement. This role requires deep expertise in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and RCM systems, along with a strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and coding standards. The senior analyst leads initiatives to improve financial performance, reduce denials, and ensure compliance, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead the development and optimization of SQL queries and data pipelines across multiple data sources including Databricks and SQL ServerDesign and maintain advanced PowerBI dashboards for executive-level reporting and strategic decision-makingPerform complex data analysis using Excel and BI tools to identify trends, revenue leakage, and operational inefficienciesConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot RCM systems, including setting up profiles, tables, and procedure manualsEnsure compliance with State and Federal billing regulations, including CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding standardsIdentify and resolve system errors and root cause issues within the revenue cycleCollaborate with leadership, billing staff, and other departments to align documentation with billing requirementsRecommend and implement changes to optimize RCM workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure timely reimbursementsManage relationships with RCM system vendors and oversee system upgrades and implementationsDevelop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle processes, reduce denials, and enhance collectionsMentor junior analysts and contribute to team goals through knowledge sharing and leadershipOther Duties & ResponsibilitiesParticipate in process improvement initiatives, including definition, measurement, and implementation of controlsContribute to team goals through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorshipPerform other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare, Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field requiredA minimum of six (6) years of experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or RCM systems requiredExpertise in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and healthcare financial systems requiredExperience with system administrator functions for configuration and maintenance of billing systems requiredStrong communication and leadership skills requiredAegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
