We have a customer-centric, modern, and inclusive work environment.Your role as an Associate Financial Advisor at Bergenn Financial Group is to manage relationships with clients, ensuring that they are receiving the highest level of customer service in line with our client service model. Growth opportunities are available to advisors who develop new business.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupports Lead Advisor on book of business, including managing client needs regarding service, asset allocation, case design, and financial planning Consult with clients on investment strategies based on individual financial and investment objectives; deliver advice and participate in client reviewsManage data and plans in financial planning software (eMoney Advisor)Responsible for client meeting preparation and follow-up, including assembling requisite paperwork, account reviews, report generation, and meeting documentationIdentify sales and asset retention opportunities, including viable alternatives when traditional solutions may not applyDeepen client relationships and establish credibility and rapport both in person and via phoneClearly articulate complex concepts to customersProactively communicating with clients and following up on all contacts assignedAbility to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities daily in pursuit of business objectivesActive engagement in marketing and sales efforts on behalf of the firm; not required to build own book of businessCommitment to culture requires a demonstration of professionalism, accountability, customer/client focus, and teamworkOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, And/or AbilitiesStrong understanding of the financial services industry and diverse investment productsBasic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are essentialProficiency in eMoney Advisor financial planning software is strongly preferredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at onceAbility to build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence othersRequirementsExperienceThe ideal candidate must have 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a strong understanding of broker/dealer operations and financial services products, including but not limited to: equities, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accountsThe ideal candidate must have a minimum of $10mm in assets under managementCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationMust be fully licensed with a Series 7 & 66 or 7, 63 & 65 Life & Health licenses preferred but not required.
