Quality Manager

Caturus, LLC, an integrated natural gas and LNG company focused on responsible sourcing of low-emission fuel to domestic and international markets. Commonwealth LNG is seeking a leader to join us as a Quality Manager. This role will interface with the EPC Contractor and regulatory authorities to provide quality oversight during the execution of construction, commissioning, startup and operations for the LNG project. This position will report to the VP, Construction & Fabrication and will be located on Site (Louisiana).Key Accountabilities:Act as the Commonwealth LNG's on-site authority for quality across EPC contractor and construction subcontractors.Enforce the owner's Project Quality Management System (PQMS), technical standards, and contractual quality requirements.Monitor EPC site QA/QC implementation across civil, structural, piping, mechanical, E&I, and LNG containment systems.Validate adherence to approved ITP hold/witness points and critical inspections (foundation tolerances, module setting, pipe tie-ins, cryogenic piping cleanliness, E&I terminations).Implement and manage corrective and preventative actions for non-conformances, track quality issues, and resolve them before they impact project timelines or budgets.Prepare and present data-driven quality reports to senior leadership, highlighting performance, trends, and risks.Review EPC contractor's inspection and surveillance reports. Provide feedback as necessary to ensure compliance with specification requirements.Review and disposition EPC NCRs, concessions, and technical deviations from an owner risk perspective.Ensure welding processes comply with contractual requirements, including oversight of personnel performing welding and testing.Support systemization, mechanical completion, and commissioning by verifying quality dossiers, test records, and readiness.Ensure preservation, cleanliness, and material integrity requirements for cryogenic and process systems are met prior to startup.Provide thorough and efficient documentation review, comments, and follow-up in a timely manner. Confirm documentation readiness for regulatory inspections and operational approvals.Conduct audits of EPC and subcontractor QMS implementation at site. Drive improvement plans where performance gaps are identified.Support Engineering, Regulatory and other functions as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the position successfully.Education, Certificates, and Licenses:Experience:15+ years of relevant experience required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Have the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc.Thorough knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices.Knowledge of requirements for cryogenic insulation.Understanding specifications, vendor procedures, instructions & codes with working knowledge of API-650, API-620, API-625, NFPA.Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, international quality standards, and technical matters related to ASME and API codes and standardsAbility to communicate and interact effectively in verbal and written formatsLead owner site quality team (discipline engineers, inspectors, document control).J-18808-Ljbffr
