A growing industrial and environmental services company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business development throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is a high-impact hunter role focused on developing new customer relationships, expanding market presence, and building pipeline across industrial and environmental markets.The company provides specialized environmental and industrial services to manufacturing facilities, petroleum and energy operations, shipyards, utilities, food processing plants, and other complex industrial environments where safety, compliance, and operational uptime are critical.This is not janitorial or commodity waste sales. The role involves selling highly specialized industrial and environmental solutions within regulated industrial environments.Position OverviewThe Regional Sales Manager will report directly to senior leadership and will be responsible for aggressively developing new business opportunities across multiple service lines. The ideal candidate is a true hunter with strong prospecting ability, high urgency, and experience selling into industrial or environmental markets.This position offers the opportunity to sell both recurring service contracts and large project-based work ranging from routine maintenance services to multimillion-dollar environmental projects.ResponsibilitiesProspect and develop new business opportunities within industrial, environmental, manufacturing, petroleum, marine, and energy marketsBuild relationships with plant managers, operations leaders, EHS professionals, maintenance leadership, purchasing teams, and environmental compliance contactsGenerate pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, site visits, and strategic prospectingSell a broad portfolio of industrial and environmental services including hazardous waste removal, industrial tank cleaning, vacuum truck services, spill response and remediation, pipeline and equipment cleaning, emergency environmental cleanup, and industrial maintenance services.Manage opportunities ranging from smaller transactional jobs to large-scale project workCollaborate with operations and leadership teams to develop customer solutionsParticipate in weekly pipeline review meetings and forecasting discussionsConduct onsite customer visits, ride-alongs, and field walk-throughs as neededCross-sell services across multiple company divisions and business unitsQualifications5+ years of outside sales or business development experienceProven track record of hunting and developing new businessStrong prospecting and pipeline generation skillsExperience selling into industrial, environmental, manufacturing, petroleum, energy, marine, or related marketsAbility to operate comfortably in industrial environments and customer facilitiesStrong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based roleExperience with environmental services, hazardous waste, industrial cleaning, remediation, vacuum services, or related industries strongly preferredPreferred Industry BackgroundsStrong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in:Industrial servicesEnvironmental servicesHazardous wasteWaste disposalIndustrial cleaningVacuum servicesEmergency responseRemediation servicesRelevant industry knowledge may include:RCRAHazardous waste regulationsEnvironmental complianceIndustrial maintenance operationsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary ranging from $90,000 to $130,000Higher compensation potential available for high-impact industry candidatesQuarterly commission payoutsStrong earning potential tied to new business generationCompany vehicle providedCompany credit card providedMedical and dental benefits401(k)Relocation assistance available for strong candidatesAdditional InformationField-based role covering the Pacific Northwest regionCandidates should reside within approximately 100 miles of Portland, ORApproximately 1 in-office day per weekStrong growth trajectory and expansion initiatives underwayHands-on leadership team with strong operational supportPerformance-driven culture focused on accountability, urgency, and business development activityThis opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales hunter who enjoys building relationships in industrial environments and creating new business opportunities from the ground up.
