Full-Stack Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CAWork Arrangement: HybridContract Duration: 1-year, with possibility of extension, W2Pay: $58.00/hrPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build secure, scalable applications that combine modern web development, cloud services, document processing, and Generative AI capabilities. This role will work across React/TypeScript front ends, Python APIs, Azure cloud services, and AI-powered workflows.The ideal candidate has strong production software engineering experience along with hands-on exposure to RAG, agentic AI, document intelligence/OCR, Azure OpenAI, and modern API development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and support production-ready full-stack applications.Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.Develop backend API services using Python and FastAPI.Design and maintain REST and streaming APIs, data models, asynchronous jobs, durable workflow state, and system integrations.Build solutions using Azure technologies such as:Azure Cosmos DBAzure Blob StorageAzure AI SearchAzure Service BusAzure Document IntelligenceAzure OpenAI / Azure AI FoundryDevelop and support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI-enabled workflows.Work with agentic AI systems, tool-using applications, MCP or similar protocols, and human-in-the-loop approval processes.Develop document-processing and OCR pipelines that support structured and unstructured information.Generate business outputs in formats such as Word, Excel, PDF, CSV, and JSON.Implement secure development practices including server-side authorization, audit logging, input validation, managed identities, and secure secrets management.Utilize automated testing, source control, code review, debugging, CI/CD, containers, and production support best practices.Translate business and SME workflows into practical, measurable product functionality.Collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.Required Qualifications4+ years of professional full-stack application development experience.5+ years of experience working with TypeScript, JavaScript, and/or Python.4+ years developing production React/TypeScript interfaces and Python API services.4+ years designing REST or streaming APIs, data models, workflow state, asynchronous processing, database integrations, and object-storage integrations.4+ years delivering accessible and observable applications.2+ years working with OCR/document-processing pipelines, document provenance/source citations, and generation of Word, Excel, PDF, CSV, or JSON outputs.2+ years of Microsoft Azure experience, including technologies such as:Entra ID / EasyAuthManaged IdentityAzure App ServiceContainers / Azure Container RegistryAzure DevOps pipelines1+ year of experience with RAG, agentic/tool-using AI systems, MCP or comparable tool protocols, and human-in-the-loop workflows.Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry.Experience with FastAPI.Experience with C# and the .NET technology stack.Strong understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, source control, code reviews, containerization, debugging, and production support.Strong written and verbal communication skills.EducationBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Key TechnologiesReact | TypeScript | JavaScript | Python | FastAPI | C# | .NET | Azure | Azure OpenAI | Azure AI Foundry | RAG | Agentic AI | MCP | Cosmos DB | Blob Storage | AI Search | Service Bus | Document Intelligence | OCR | REST APIs | CI/CD | Azure DevOps | Containers
