Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per 2025-27 Educator AgreementStart Date: August 2026Work week: Monday - Friday (7:45 AM-3:45 PM)Student Level: Transition 12+Location: The Transition Education Center is moving into a new space beginning the 2026-27 school year in White Bear Lake, MN (2399 Cedar Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN 55110)Position SummaryPerforms difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal. Continuous oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional.Education And /or ExperienceBachelor's degree with coursework in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.MN Teaching in Work Based Learning (or willing to get the Work Based Learning License/Endoresment)Special education licensure: ASD and/or DCD-MM or DCD-SP preferredValid driver's license in the State of Minnesota.Must be able to complete driving training to drive school vehicles on community outings.Essential FunctionsSee Job Description attached.
