Accounts Receivable Clerk / SpecialistA growing manufacturing company in the southern Columbus, OH suburbs is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk / Specialist to join its accounting team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented accounting work, customer interaction, and being part of a stable, team-oriented company. The hiring manager is extremely supportive, approachable, and genuinely nice to work with.What You’ll DoIn this role, you will support the AR function and help ensure customer accounts are accurate, timely, and well-maintained. Responsibilities may include:Prepare and process customer invoicesApply cash receipts and post paymentsMonitor customer accounts and follow up on past-due balancesResearch and resolve billing or payment discrepanciesAssist with credit memos, account reconciliations, and AR aging reportsPartner with internal teams and customers to answer questions and resolve issuesSupport month-end close and other accounting projects as neededWhat We’re Looking ForPrior accounts receivable, accounting, billing, or cash application experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and follow-up skillsComfortable working in Excel and accounting/ERP systemsManufacturing experience is helpful, but not requiredPositive attitude and willingness to learnCompensation & ScheduleBase salary up to $60,000, depending on experienceInitially onsite while getting trained and up to speedAfter training, schedule transitions to 4 days in office and 1 day from homeBenefitsThe company offers a strong benefits package, including:Vacation timeSick timeMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) matchAdditional company benefitsThis is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to join a stable manufacturing company, work under a great manager, and continue building their accounting career.Work AuthorizationApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
