The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics, skilled in engaging students with diverse learning needs, and committed to fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.RESPONSIBILITIESCurriculum & Instruction: Design and deliver engaging lessons that are fully aligned with the Indiana Academic Standards for mathematics, following the district's high-quality instructional materials.SAT Preparation: Integrate targeted math review and test-taking strategies into daily instruction to prepare students for success on the SAT.Inclusive Strategies: Implement research-based instructional strategies to ensure success for all students. This includes utilizing SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) components to support English Language Learners.Collaboration (PLC): Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). You will collaborate with colleagues to plan lesson delivery, analyze student data, share best practices, and develop interventions to continuously improve student outcomes.Professional Development: Participate in professional development and school improvement initiativesClassroom Environment: Foster a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment that encourages student engagement and ownership of learning.Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff regarding progress and expectations.Extracurricular Activities: Participate in available Extracurricular Activities as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSValid Indiana teaching license in Mathematics (or ability to obtain)Strong content knowledge in secondary mathematicsExperience with differentiated instruction and data-driven decision-making preferredEffective classroom management and communication skillsCommitment to continuous professional growthCompletion of Safe Hiring Solutions' expanded background check, including the Department of Child Services index.COMPENSATIONRate of Pay: To be determined based on experience according to the Master ContractHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Benefit-eligible positionIndiana Teacher Retirement Fund Contribution-eligible position (Pension)Start Date: August 3, 2026APPLICATION PROCESSComplete the Nimble application, including all attachments.Questions?
