Hematology/Oncology Physician

Job Opportunity: Hematologist-Oncologist (Locum to Perm) Join a leading healthcare facility in Paducah, Kentucky, specializing in Medical Oncology & Hematology. This locum-to-permanent position offers a unique opportunity for physicians to provide essential care in a dynamic environment. With a focus on adult patients, you'll be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality oncology and hematology services.Facility Highlights: 100% Adult patient population 95% clinic; 5% hospital work 70% Oncology; 30% Hematology focus Utilizing EPIC EMR system Average patient census: 22/day; including 2-3 new consults Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with hematologic and oncological conditions. Manage clinical assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations. Provide intrathecal and intracavitary chemotherapy as required. Participate in on-call duties, including weekend coverage. Qualifications: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED) Completion of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship (REQUIRED) KY State License (Highly Preferred) COVID Vaccination (REQUIRED) BLS & ACLS certifications (REQUIRED) Experience in Outpatient/Inpatient Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED) Competence in Intrathecal Chemotherapy (REQUIRED) Experience with Intracavitary Chemotherapy (Highly Preferred) Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days (REQUIRED) License and Certification Requirements: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology COVID Vaccination BLS & ACLS Certification Self-Query NPDB reportDiscover the charm of Paducah, a vibrant city in Kentucky known for its rich history, artistic culture, and friendly community.
