Manufacturing OperatorLocation: Johnson City, TN (Rolling Hills Dr., 37604)Shift:2nd Shift (Mon–Thurs, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM)WEEKENDS OFF! Length: Temp to PermPay Rate:$17.25/hr. About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented, safety-focused Manufacturing Operator to support the processing of premium-quality nickel titanium wire products. In this role, you will operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, ensure dimensional accuracy, verify product quality, and maintain complete and accurate documentation throughout the production cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up machines according to process parameters and product specifications.Load raw materials into production equipment following established work instructions.Operate multiple machines to process wire to desired diameter, length, finish, and form.Maintain all dimensional and visual quality requirements as documented.Ensure product traceability as material moves through production stages.Identify non-conforming material and follow proper containment procedures.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.Maintain appropriate inventory of chemicals used in production processes.Follow complaint handling and quality system requirements.QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferredTechnical degree (AS or BS) a plusExperiencePrior manufacturing experience preferred, but not requiredSkills & CompetenciesAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write simple correspondence and complete required documentationStrong verbal communication skills; comfortable working one-on-one or in small groupsTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectivelyQuality-driven with strong attention to detailProficient in using measurement and testing instrumentsAbility to accurately inspect, measure, and log production resultsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructionsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry into manufacturing software)Work ScheduleMonday – Thursday3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)Pay Details: $17.25 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
