Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established non-profit organization in Riverside County. This role is responsible for processing payroll for approximately 400 employees and requires strong attention to detail, compliance knowledge, and hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.Key Responsibilities:Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll for ~400 employees on a consistent scheduleUtilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing, reporting, and employee data managementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsManage payroll-related activities including earnings, deductions, garnishments, and tax filingsReconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerPartner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee records and payroll changesAssist with audits and year-end processing (W-2s, etc.)Qualifications:3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience (required)Must have experience processing payroll for a non-profit organizationHands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required)Experience processing payroll for 300+ employees preferredStrong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and complianceHigh level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detailExcellent organizational and communication skillsCompensation:Competitive salary based on experienceBenefits offered (details provided during interview process)Why Join:Mission-driven organization making a meaningful impact in the communityStable, collaborative work environmentOpportunity to take ownership of payroll operations
