Job DescriptionDirector of Preconstruction - Full-Time | Competitive SalaryWe are seeking a Director of Preconstruction with 5+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, estimating, or project management. You will lead preconstruction efforts, collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams, and ensure projects are set up for success from planning to construction.Responsibilities:Lead preconstruction for mechanical projects (HVAC, plumbing, piping)Oversee design coordination, budgeting, value engineering, and bid analysisReview and finalize detailed cost estimatesBuild and maintain client, subcontractor, and vendor relationshipsCollaborate with project managers and estimating teamsIdentify risks and propose mitigation strategiesEnsure smooth transition from preconstruction to constructionQualifications:Bachelors in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or related field5+ years in mechanical contracting, sales, estimating, or project managementStrong knowledge of mechanical systems and BIM processesExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsProficiency in Excel and construction/project management softwareBenefits:ESOP & discretionary bonusHealth, dental, vision insurance401(k) with company contributionsPaid time off, holidays, and parental leaveTuition & gym reimbursementApply now to lead preconstruction excellence!
