Shop Dispatcher/Booker

Plans, organizes ,leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional and timely manner ensuring that work is divided in a fair manner among all technicians. Strong communication with service advisors. Handles repair orders in accordance with General Motors guidelines and books tickets before returning to advisor. Maintains an effective shop dispatch system Schedules shop work for obtain maximum productivity in accordance with technician skill level. Ensures proper repair order documentation, 3 C's. Ensures every repair order has documented punch times. Reviews hard copies of RO's turned in by techs to ensure the ticked has been filled out correctly. Book RO's in accordance with General Motors guidelines. Generate ROs on all new and used car PDI's. Book and close all PDI's Coordinate and execute and sublets if necessary. Maintain all inventory vehicle recall's. Assist with shop safety, housekeeping and all OSHA right to know procedures within department. Maintaining a professional appearance. Able to handle other tasks as assigned my management. At least 2 year of General Motors dealership experience preferred at least 2 years of CDK dealer operating system a must A High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent required.
