**Exciting Remote Opportunity in Eastern Time Zone of US - 1 Year Contract**Looking for a detailed-oriented individual with a passion for system analysis and design review. As an IT/Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that business problems are thoroughly understood, detailed requirements are proposed, and collaborating with internal and external teams to create architecture design. This critical role involves creating architectural models/diagrams of existing agency applications from various disciplines by gathering information from different sources within the organization.Key Responsibilities Systematic review of business, security, service, and information systems domain components Reviewing enterprise IT Projects for alignment with state and agency goals Assessing Statewide IT Procurements and ensuring alignment with business requests/requirements and available architectural standards Collaborating with stakeholder groups to develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategy in alignment with North Carolina's goals Evaluating current technology infrastructure and identifying improvement areas Upholding state-wide enterprise architecture principles and best practices for consistency and security Assessing risks associated with initiatives and working with stakeholders for improvement and security Guiding enterprise-wide IT projects and IT procurements in alignment with enterprise architecture Evaluating third-party vendors and solutions for adherence to standards and integrations with existing solutions Implementing architectural standards, guidance, and frameworks while keeping up with technology trendsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
