Technical Program Manager
Role Description
Phaidra is seeking an independent worker skilled in organization, planning, and project management to own end-to-end delivery of complex, large-scale customer programs. This role involves:
Leading program strategy and planning by defining timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.
Serving as the primary customer-facing program leader and trusted advisor.
Working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure customer solutions are configured correctly.
Independently managing high-complexity engagements.
Leading executive-level communication and presenting complex technical concepts.
Proactively identifying program risks and leading initiatives to improve delivery.
Establishing and continuously improving program management best practices.
Owning comprehensive program documentation.
Leading complex internal initiatives that enhance product capabilities.
Mentoring other TPMs on project execution and technical domain nuances.
Adapting project management methodologies based on program complexity.
Using AI tools strategically to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
Qualifications
5+ years of technical program or project management experience.
Proven ability to independently lead large-scale, technically complex customer programs.
Strong experience working with enterprise customers and distributed teams.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and program execution at scale.
Ability to translate customer needs into structured requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following domains:
Data centers
Industrial controls and automation systems
HVAC and mission-critical cooling systems
AI / Machine Learning applications in industrial environments
Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Requirements
Strong track record of driving process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
Experience leading cross-functional technical solution delivery.
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.
Experience influencing product strategy through customer insights.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
