Courses will be assigned on an as-needed basis. Willingness to work within the established UC Berkeley Mathematics curriculum and uphold the department's teaching standards is required.General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), maintaining a course website, and using a learning management system (e.g., bCourses at UC Berkeley, Canvas, etc.). For large-lecture assignments, the ability to manage large classes effectively and supervise discussion sections and graduate student instructors is essential.Department : courses/choosing/course-descriptionsQualificationsBasic qualifications(required at time of application)
