Medical Case Management Dept. Supervisor

This specific position is for an experienced RN Supervisor of Case Management. We Are Looking for Experience as a Worker’s Compensation Nurse Case Manager (NCM) or NCM Supervisor in NYS with demonstrated proficiencies in same. . Prefer CRC, CDMS, CCM or CRRN certification. RN license and clinical practice experience, as well as other work experience Knowledge or experience in Disability Assessment Current knowledge of workers compensation, no fault, STD/LTD and legislative issues effecting same. Strong understanding of NYS Worker’s Compensation Medical Treatment Guidelines. Must have: Strong Computer skills Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to drive Quick learner and able to function autonomously Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask Demonstrate core competencies for NCM Supervision. Customer Focus Understanding Others Flexibility Integrity and trust Effective Decision Making Organizational skills Ability to Work Autonomously Responsibilities: · Reviews Nurse Case Managers (NCM) letters and reports prior to processing to ensure quality of work; consistency with the NYS WCB rules and regulations. · Performs regular staffing with NCM to ensure forward movement on the file and adherence to the NYS WCB Medical Treatment Guidelines. · Ensures customer specific handling instructions are followed. · Provides support to NCM staff as an educator. Responds to NCM queries via phone and email contacts. · Provides training for new NCM. · Assists Division Lead in preparing employee evaluations · Makes recommendations to Division Lead for improvements in departmental policies and procedures. · Assists Division Lead in roll out of new policies and procedures. · Provides feedback to Division Lead of any personnel or departmental issues regarding attendance, work flow, productivity or customer relations. · Assists with outcome/ closure reports monthly. · Assists in the hiring process – solicits staff referrals from current nursing staff, coordinates advertisement for staff with HR (Indeed) if needed, obtains and reviews resumes/ applications, conducts interviews, coordinates with HR for reference checks, job offers, etc. Job Type: Full-time Salary: 85,000-95,000 DOE and location Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Case management: 5 years (Required) Nursing: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: RN License (Required) Ability to Commute: Niagara Falls, NY 14303 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Niagara Falls, NY 14303
