Director, Senior AI Engineer - Ontario, Canada (Remote)IKS Health is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build modern, AI-first applications across web and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for a full-stack engineer with hands-on experience in React, Node.js, Python, LangGraph, and agentic application architectures. You will play a critical role in developing next-generation patient access solutions, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to deliver scalable, production-grade systems.This position is perfect for an engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys end-to-end ownership, and is passionate about building AI-native products that deliver real-world impact.We are seeking a highly skilled engineer who combines deep full stack expertise with hands-on AI application development. Ideal candidates will have experience building production-grade, public-facing applications - preferably AI-native - and demonstrate strong architectural thinking, problem-solving ability, and ownership.Backgrounds that align well with this role include:Full-stack engineering roles building AI-powered or agentic applicationsAI engineering or applied ML engineering rolesExperience with LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworksEngineers who have built and shipped commercially successful applicationsThe salary range for this position is $150,000 to $165,000 CAD a year, determined by years of relevant experience, skills, and the specific geographical location where the work is performed.
