Shipping CoordinatorOperations Major Purpose: Coordinates all daily shipping and receiving activities to include configuring loads, supervising packaging, and coordinating with different carriers to assure proper delivery of products. Gives work direction and/or supervises non-salary shipping personnel, both internal and external (carriers).Major Duties:Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software.Create a company-wide document management system and ensure compliance with it.Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.Produce, update, and provide best practice support on a wide range of Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems.Conduct complex analyses, quality tests, and inspections that require a high level of independent judgment.Carry out routine support tasks using legal systems and protocols.Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards.Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:Verbal CommunicationComputer SkillsData Collection and AnalysisNumerical SkillsAction PlanningPolicy and RegulationReview and ReportingWriting skillsData ControlOffice SystemsPlanning and OrganizingEducation:Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary EducationWork Experience:Very limited (0 to 3 months)Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to lead shipping and receiving activities and serve as a critical liaison between departments. This office-based position involves oversight, organization, and complianceensuring the smooth delivery of products without hands-on movement of parts. Please note that the position requires onsite work from day one, and approximately 25% of your day will be spent on the shop floor.Major Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities: configure loads, oversee packaging, and work with carriers to assure timely deliveries.Supervise or direct non-salary shipping personnel (internal and external carriers).Organize and prepare complex documents using business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).Gather, analyze, and summarize data for special reports; maintain accurate records.Create, implement, and ensure compliance with a company-wide document management system.Support best practices in department reporting, planning, and data control.Arrange and support stakeholder meetings, actions, and events.Conduct analyses, quality tests, and inspections with a focus on accuracy and independent judgment.Develop expertise in company policies, regulations, and industry standards.Pursue ongoing training, development, and industry knowledge as required.Desired Skills & Experience:Verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office.Experience with data collection, reporting, analysis, and document control.Organizational, planning, and numerical skills.Familiarity with office systems and standard procedures.Experience with SAP and PowerBI preferred, but not required.Previous experience with hazmat, shipping, or warehousing is a plus.Additional Details:Position is fully onsite, immediate start.Must have or be able to obtain metatarsal safety shoes by the first day.Business casual dress code.No physical shipping/lifting required; role is mostly office-based.No visa sponsorship is available, now or in the future.Interviews will be held via MS Teams.EEO: "Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans."
