Job Description: Ameriwell Care is Now Hiring: Spanish-Speaking Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: East Windsor, NJ
Pay: $28–$30 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Daily, 8:00 AM–2:00 PMPosition Overview We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Spanish-speaking Direct Support Professional (DSP)to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in East Windsor, NJ.
The individual is non-verbal and requires support both at home and in the community. We are looking for someone who is attentive, caring, and able to recognize and respond to non-verbal communication and individual needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support with daily activities.
Accompany the individual on community outings and recreational activities.
Communicate patiently and effectively with a non-verbal individual.
Ensure the individual's safety, comfort, and well-being.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish is required.
Patient, reliable, compassionate, and responsible.
Comfortable supporting a non-verbal individual.
Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
