Job Title: Oracle EBS - MRP Functional ConsultantLocation: Sandy Spring, GA (Onsite)Duration: Long TermRate: Open / Best PossibleJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced MRP Functional Expert to support and optimize the complete MRP lifecycle within Oracle. The consultant will be responsible for reviewing MRP configurations, validating planning data, executing MRP runs, analyzing outputs, and providing hands-on training to internal teams. The objective is to ensure an efficient and transparent MRP process while enabling the business team to independently manage and maintain the system.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and optimize current MRP setup, planning parameters, item attributes, and replenishment strategies.Validate planning data including BOMs, lead times, inventory accuracy, safety stock, lot sizing, and time fences.Execute MRP runs and explain planning results, demand/supply netting, and planned order generation.Analyze demand and supply elements such as forecasts, sales orders, POs, WIP, and planned orders.Support forecast integration from third-party systems into Oracle and troubleshoot data issues.Provide guidance on item attributes, Make vs. Buy strategies, and planning drivers impacting MRP results.Assist planners in managing exception messages including expedite, defer, cancel, and release recommendations.Establish planner workflows and best practices for efficient planning operations.Deliver hands-on training and knowledge transfer covering MRP execution, result interpretation, traceability, and parameter adjustments.Required SkillsStrong expertise in Oracle MRP / Supply Chain Planning.Hands-on experience with MRP setup, execution, and troubleshooting.Deep understanding of BOMs, inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment strategies.Ability to provide functional guidance, business process improvements, and end-user training.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
