Blending Lead

Blending Lead Positional Responsibilities & Duties· Leading, training and delegating to the Blending Technicians.· Responsible for weighing each raw material as listed in the Weighing Raw Materials section of the Batch Manufacturing Recordo Closely following the Blending and Weigh Up SOPo Receiving visual verification and initial from blending lead before removing the product from the scaleo Using a different scoop when changing raw materials and gloveso Properly sealing bags and boxes when a raw material is no longer needed and providing it to the Blending Lead to carry out the proper return process· Using the depositing schedule to plan and request raw materials and BMRs in advance.· Verifying the raw materials for each job after they have been picked by warehouse personnel.· Staging raw materials inside of the weigh-up/blending area for use.· Filling out Cleaning and Use Log each time a clean is performed as well as each time a new finished good product is weighed up, as well as properly changing room status tags to reflect current activity.· Performing certified weight verifications on scales each day and upon changing products.· Responsible for visual verification of the weigh up of each material as they are placed on the scale by the blending technicians, as well as the proper lot number and RM code.o Responsible for initialing the verification box on each line of the Weigh-Up and Blending sections of the BMR.· Responsible for overseeing proper labeling of any bags, bottles, buckets and barrels used in the weigh up process.o Each container of weighed up raw materials should be labeled with what is inside the bag as well as what product it is for, including the bulk lot number.· Performing proper line clearance and A-Clean procedures when switching from product to product.· Performing the issuing of components to work orders within NetSuite.· Marking which lots have been blended by changing the color of the lot number in the depositing schedule to blue.· Responsible for the correct return process (Weighing, labeling and bin transfer in NetSuite) of Raw Materials to the Warehouse· Responsible for verifying the bm's and work orders in Netsuite before the start of weighing to ensure everything matches and prevents errors
