Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Manufacturing Kiln Operator positions in Loudon, TN.Details for Manufacturing Kiln Operator Position:$17.00-$18.60/hourFull-Time | Temp-to-Hire (90-day introductory)Zero Fees - you'll never be charged for any screening serviceFast Start DateWeekly PayJob Duties for Manufacturing Kiln OperatorPosition:Monitor unloading, kiln entrance, kiln, kiln exit, and loading machines for abnormal tile conditions such as double stacking, misalignment, or breakageStop the line and safely enter machines after waiting time to correct jams or abnormal conditionsReset machines and restart lines after maintenance, housekeeping, or issue resolutionPerform housekeeping inside and around machines, removing broken tiles, dust, and debris to maintain a clean and safe work areaInspect tiles through kiln spy windows to ensure proper flow and qualityObserve rollers through kiln spy windows and replace or clean as neededInstall insulation on rollers after replacementDispose of broken or defective tiles properly in designated waste hoppersMonitor equipment operation and communicate issues promptly to maintenance or supervisionFollow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe entry practicesUse proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain awareness of hot surfaces and moving equipmentSafely use approved hand tools and power tools for assigned tasksParticipate in facility walkthroughs to identify hazards such as wet floors, hoses, cables, or tile debrisAssist with hopper emptying and general area cleaning as assignedMaintain consistent attention to quality, production flow, and overall equipment efficiencyPerform all other duties assigned to support production efficiency, quality, and safetyQualifications and Desired Skills for Manufacturing Kiln Operator Position:High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of manufacturing experience desiredAbility to stand for duration of shiftAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reachIf you have the experience and skills we're looking for, apply to Luttrell Staffing today!
