Job Summary 3-11p MON-FRI We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in a business office 2 hours a day ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, and waxing as required. Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning tasks to uphold facility standards. Ensure that all restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Participate in special projects such as residential painting or deep cleaning initiatives as directed. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
