This role involves overseeing and managing complex property and casualty claims, including those related to building and structural damage, auto, and workers' compensation. The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with third-party adjusters, vendors, and industry experts to ensure claims are handled efficiently and accurately while delivering exceptional service to agents and claimants.ResponsibilitiesHandle Property and Casualty Claims, including structural damage and casualty claims such as auto and workers' compensation.Manage and supervise Third-Party Administrator (TPA) adjusters, outside vendors, field adjusters, and consultants, including CPAs.Assess and determine policy coverage for reported claims.Evaluate damages to determine appropriate compensation amounts.Consult with accountants, architects, engineers, and other experts for specialized evaluations.Respond promptly and professionally to claims calls and emails from agents and claimants.Negotiate fair claim settlements while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.Qualifications2+ year(s) of experience in managing property and casualty claims.or in a similar roleBachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience in the insurance industryStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsProficiency with Xactimate and MS Office/Google Workspace applicationsAIC, CPCU, or other relevant insurance certifications are a plusExperiences in the CMP insurance industry preferred.BenefitsMedical (PPO), dental (PPO), vision (PPO), and life insurance covered 100% by the company and 50% for dependents.Paid time off and sick leave.13 annual paid holidays.401(k) plan with up to 4% company match.Flexible Spending Account (FSA) & Dependent Care FSA.Quarterly Fringe Benefit reimbursements.Job-related training reimbursement.Casual dress code.About UsAt DB Insurance USA, we carry forward a legacy of excellence that began in South Korea in 1962 and expanded to the U.S. in 1984.
