Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting as needed. Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and staff. Review and evaluate images for technical quality, and ensure images are properly documented and filed. Provide clear instructions to patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and are comfortable throughout. Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage. Assist with patient preparation and provide support during and after imaging procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Qualifications: Associate s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor s degree preferred. Valid certification as an X-Ray Technologist (e.g., ARRT) and state licensure as required. 1 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred, but will accept new graduates!
