Discover more at https://www.connectpositronic.com/en/SummaryLeads and coordinates shift-level assembly team performance, ensuring targets are met for production, quality, and safety through hands-on support and leadership.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead team members and track quality and production goalsCoordinate scheduling and monitor workflow efficiencyAnalyze labor and production data for improvementsInspect finished products and adjust operations accordinglyCoach, train, and evaluate team performanceUphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent1 to 2 years of experience or trainingPhysicalFrequent walking with periods of sitting and standingOccasional ladder climbing and stoopingUses arms/hands frequently to assist with machineryOccasionally lifts 0-30 lbs; rarely up to 50 lbsPPE includes safety glasses at all times; gloves as requiredShift: Second (Tu-F 3:45pm-2:15am)Working ConditionsWork is performed in production zone with frequent exposure to loud machines and nitrogen-based chemicals.CompetenciesKnowledgeKnowledge of business and people management in a production environmentUnderstanding of manufacturing equipment and assembly line workflowFamiliarity with scheduling, reporting, and production cost controlSkillsSupervisory skills to motivate and evaluate shift team performanceSkilled in interpreting schedules and production metricsCoordination and planning for workforce and equipment layoutAble to resolve conflicts and train staff in standard proceduresExcellent time management and decision-making under pressureAbilitiesLeadership and coordination of multiple employees and functionsAbility to clearly identify quality or safety issues and take actionVisual acuity and color recognition for inspecting partsOral expression and listening for coaching and feedback sessionsTime sharing and adaptability for shift-wide planning and responsePOSITRONIC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, INTERPRET, OR APPLY THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IN ANY WAY THE COMPANY DESIRES.
