Job DescriptionProvidence Medical Group Alaska is seeking a Locums Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the team with flexible scheduling options, offering a hybrid schedule model that blends in person and telehealth coverage.Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to the growth and development of adolescents as a Locums Pediatric Endocrinologist in Anchorage for Providence Medical Group Alaska. In this role, you will provide consultation in developing clinic policies, clinic protocols, forms, reports, and records, as well as promote new and enhance existing services at Providence. Conduct meaningful work and experience an excellent quality of life in Anchorage, Alaska.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to dietary needs, such as diabetes and obesityDemonstrate extensive knowledge of endocrine glands and their role in adolescent growth and developmentAnalyze records, reports and examination information to monitor patients' condition, progress and treatmentCollect and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam resultsProvide on-call services as necessaryIdentify serious or specialized illness or injuries and refer patients to the necessary specialistMaintain successful working relationships with nurses and other medical facility staffParticipate in occasional and reasonable amounts of teaching and educational activitiesPosition Details:Per Diem/Part Time positionHybrid opportunities available: in-person and telehealth coverageQualifications & Requirements:Must be an MDExperience preferredCompletion of Residency program in PediatricsCompletion of Fellowship program in Pediatric EndocrinologyCurrent or immediate eligibility for Alaska Medical LicenseWhere Youll WorkProvidence Medical Group - Alaska is a multi-specialty group with 70 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians serving greater Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.
