Koch Center for Cancer Care. Join a mission-driven team delivering world-class cancer care.Role OverviewOversee day-to-day diagnostic radiology operations across MRI, Ultrasound, and X-ray to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient careManage staff scheduling, coverage, call, and time-off to support routine, urgent, and emergency imaging needsSupervise, train, and support staff, including onboarding, performance feedback, and ongoing developmentMonitor workflow, schedules, and imaging priorities to ensure timely inpatient and outpatient careIdentify operational challenges and partner with leadership to improve processes and patient flowEnsure compliance with quality, safety, radiation, and regulatory standards (ACR, FDA, MSK policies)Support equipment readiness, supplies, and imaging systems (PACS/RIS) to maintain smooth operationsPerform imaging procedures as needed to support staffing and service demandsKey Qualifications:Associate's degree or completion of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program4-7 years of progressive radiologic technology experienceActive state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or ARRT certificationARRT certification in MRICurrent American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certificationMRSO preferred with MR safety experience, or willingness to obtain within 12 monthsCore Skills:Operational leadership in a high-volume radiology environmentStaff scheduling, coverage planning, and real-time problem solvingClear communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teamsStrong focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (ACR, FDA, Joint Commission)Workflow optimization and prioritization of urgent vs. routine studiesSound clinical and operational judgment in fast-paced settingsAbility to coach, develop, and hold staff accountableProficiency with radiology systems (RIS, PACS) and operational reportingAdditional InformationSchedule: 4-day workweek (Monday-Friday once fully trained); possible weekends with a weekday offLocation: David H.
