Senior Project Scheduler – Construction Projects (Primavera P6 Expert) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to lead scheduling for large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate has advanced expertise in Primavera P6, a strong understanding of construction sequencing and project controls, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. This role involves schedule development, analysis, reporting, and mentorship of junior schedulers. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 Perform critical path analysis, progress tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting Analyze schedule impacts due to scope changes, design updates, or construction conditions Prepare and present schedule dashboards, recovery plans, and reports for leadership Facilitate schedule review meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts across teams Support change management, claims analysis, and time impact assessments Mentor junior schedulers and provide scheduling best practices guidance Proactively identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of project scheduling experience on large-scale construction projects Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, work packaging, and project controls Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to influence and lead discussions without direct authority Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Experience in mega-projects, EPC, or multi-phase construction programs Knowledge of cost controls, earned value management (EVM), and risk analysis Leadership or mentorship experience Familiarity with contract scheduling requirements, delays, and claims support Professional certifications: PMP, PSP, or PMI-SP Work Environment: Fast-paced, high-energy construction projects Collaborative, team-focused culture Opportunities to work on high-visibility, complex projects
